Keep the Promise event: follow-up action
Thank you to all our members and supporters who joined us on 4 October at the biggest ever event to end child poverty in the UK. Over 10,000 people joined the march and rally in Trafalgar Square. Since we now have a new Parliament CPAG has written to all MPs to urge them to sign up to our manifesto, 10 steps to a society free of child poverty. Please reinforce this by writing to your Member of Parliament, asking them to sign up to this set of policy proposals. Find out more.

The campaign to give asylum seekers milk tokens has succeeded with the Government’s change of policy. From 3 March 2003, pregnant women and children under 3 who are supported by National Asylum Support Service (NASS) will be given additional financial support. Find out more.
